About:

Legendary music icon Doodlebug Cee Knowledge presents up and coming singer, songwriter, and recording artist KROWN. The Tri-State area talented and versatile artist delivers a modern flow of Funk and Alternative Hip-Hop for all generations of music purists and enthusiast to embrace.

KROWN's movement in the music industry thus far hasn't gone without notice or recognition. His journey began early on in high school when he formed a rap group and released a few local hits. From there he scored several modeling gigs with BET, Phat Farm, and Nickelodeon. After a brief hiatus KROWN ventured out to Los Angeles to reinvent his musical journey and to evolve the record label and collective Uplifted World.

"Wassup" is the first single released off KROWN's forthcoming solo album "Nothing Lasts Forever" which is expected to release early of 2019. The album is executively produced by Cee-Knowledge with contributing production by Quickly Quickly, Steve Young, Beatjoven, LA Soulchyld, RIVR, Oui Lele, Whitecliffs, Strkfr, Krapf, and Cairo. The single describes a young man looking for love while weeding out deceptive women and remaining focused on success. KROWN displays intermittent jazzy vocals and
ear captivating lyrics over an arrangement of fused soul and effervescent production originally sampled from Donell Jone's 1999 R&B hit "U Know What's Up."

To date, the multifaceted artist is diligently working on the debut of his forthcoming solo album titled "Nothing Lasts Forever" as well as collaborative projects. KROWN is available for interviews, appearances, and performances.

About:

Taj Jamar Moore Hull, known today by his artist name "Krown" was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Hudson County, NJ. At a young age he envisioned his future as a recording artist and model. With an iconic music legend, Cee Knowledge (formerly known as Doodlebug of the critically acclaimed Hip-Hop group Digable Planets) as his parent, one might say it's in the genes. Early on he gravitated towards his rhyme book and performed at local talent shows. He even got a taste of the runway modeling for famous brands including BET, Phat Farm, and Nickelodeon. Unfortunately, soon after is when tragedy struck on the home when he lost his mother to suicide. Krown was uprooted to reside with family members for a brief time before he relocated to Philadelphia with his father.

Krown's coping and healing came to him in way of poetry and music. He formed the group Ego Trio in high school with his peers Lil Samson and Mothership Q and released a few hit singles. After a hiatus and passing of college years, Krown and Samson reconnected in Los Angeles. Both were working diligently on pursuing music as a career. They recorded some music along with Krown's younger brother Noah Michèl and established their collective and soon to be record label, Uplifted World.

To date, Krown is working on collaborative projects under the label as well as his debut solo project. "Nothing Lasts Forever" is set for a winter release in 2019, executively produced by his father Cee Knowledge along with contributing producers Quickly Quickly, Steve Young, Beatjoven, LA Soulchyld, RIVR, Oui Lele, Whitecliffs, Strkfr, Krapf, and Cairo.

The talented and versatile artist delivers a modern flow of Funk and Alternative Hip-Hop that all generations of music purists and enthusiast can vibe to. Get familiar with Krown, and stay tuned!

ABOUT YUNG BABY TATE: Yung Baby Tate hails from Atlanta flaunting a rainbow-worthy variety of vibrant talents as an entertainer, coined namely a singer-songwriter, rapper, producer, dancer, actress, and self-acclaimed, "dope ass chick". Music also seemed predestined. Tate actually attended the 1996 GRAMMY® Awards in the womb of her mother Dionne Farris, of iconic rap group, Arrested Development. Growing up as a kid in Decatur, Georgia, she developed a passion for nineties R&B and Hip-Hop, citing Brandy, SWV, Missy Elliott and more as influences in addition to pop muse Gwen Stefani.

The budding songstress made her introduction with a sharpened style of her own and 2014 single "What's Up" followed by a prolific run which encompassed 2015's ROYGBIV EP. Tate later returned with her 2018 breakout project BOYS EP, which produced viral hit and fan favorite "Bob," clocking nearly a half-million cumulative streams within six months. Widespread acclaim followed from The FADER, Creative Loafing, Mass Appeal and many more. Now, she preps her next effort GIRLS, writing and producing herself once more.
