About Delta 6

Delta 6 is a producer, songwriter, and artist who started producing music in the group he created called the Delta Collective. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Sometimes the finest of art can be designed and presented in the most abstract of ways, similar to how a Jean-Michel Basquiat painting perfectly positions complex images, color schemes and carefully chosen words to tell a deeper profound story.  In the world of Hip Hop, abstract artists like Kool Keith (Ultramagnetic Mc's), MF Doom and Young Zee (Outsidaz) paved the way for a-alike "out of the box" writers to create with no boundaries. Rahway New Jersey's Fatboi Sharif is cut from similar cloth of Hip Hop's eccentric greats and has created a cult following with his debut solo album "Ape Twin".

Continuing his "Ape Twin" campaign, Fatboi Sharif delivers the album's second official video, "Cloud Atlas", a song that is a reminder that above all the troubles of the world, life is great!, which is repeated in every chorus as a memo and mantra to live by. The John L directed visuals showcases Fatboi Sharif cutting loose with his crew in their prided homeland of "New Jerusalem" while the Raiden produced soundscape serves as a magic carpet that Fatboi masterfully rides and navigates through several chambers and galaxies. When speaking about "Cloud Atlas", Fatboi Sharif stated, "This is my ode to Smoothe Da Hustler and Trigger The Gambler's Broken Language.  Its as if I am shooting a box full of jig-saw puzzle pieces at you, fully automatic, and each piece is essential to the overall slaughter. Every bar is another stroke of my paintbrush, each equally important to the finished canvas.  This is my version of Broken Language."

Fatboi Sharif's "Ape Twin" is out now on CD and all major digital streaming services.

#submision by @callmeNoMe SINGER AND SONGWRITER NO/MEDEBUTS NEW SINGLE “SAVIOR”

SINGER AND SONGWRITER NO/ME
DEBUTS NEW SINGLE "SAVIOR"

"I'm saving myself…Good without your favors, I don't need a savior."

Los Angeles-based vocalist and songwriter No/Me returns with her new single "Savior" out today on Republic Records—listen and share HERE!

A moody and mesmerizing anthem with empowering lyrics, "Savior" follows No/Me's debut single "
Consistent," which EARMILK hailed as a "bold and anthemic future-pop debut." The song premiered on the FIFA 19 soundtrack, among the likes of Childish Gambino, Gorillaz, Logic, Billie Eilish and more.

Of the inspiration behind "Savior," No/Me says, "'Savior' is all about empowerment. I feel like we—especially women—are taught to rely on others to attain happiness. We're told we need a perfect partner to in order to feel fulfilled, we need to kiss up to powerful businessmen in order to get our dream jobs—fuck that. I really believe that if you set your mind to something you can reach your goal without leaning on others. Community is important, but in order to be able to contribute, we need to be strong and take care of ourselves so we can give our best."

L.A. native No/Me's sound is a blend of her eclectic influences, from early-'90s alt-rock to the quirky anti-folk of Regina Spektor to Israeli music. With Hebrew as her first language, her lyrics reveal a raw but poetic sensibility closely shaped by her upbringing. Having a deep-rooted mission to use her music as a vehicle for positive change, No/Me's stage name is her Hebrew name and meant to signify the transparent nature of her songwriting. She aims to spark that change on the most personal level. "Consistent" and "Savior" set the stage for more new music from No/Me in 2019.

#submission by @MoleculesBX • @DiceBX • @LegionSmash The Legion Return with First LP in 25 Years! | Debut Visuals for "1980 Something"

1980Something Giphy

Click here to view, "1980 Something" via YouTube

Bronx rap trio The Legion take us back to "1980 Something" in their new video that depicts the good, the bad, and the ugly from that decade including Ronald Reagan's flawed drug war and larger-than-life parties.

To capture the vibe of New York City (and the country at large) in the '80s, the Double Dog Films crew did a stellar job of blending footage from that era with shots of The Legion posted up in the BX. As Molecules, DiceMan, and Chucky Smash pass the mic back and forth throughout the track, you see shots of Reagan, drug busts, live performances, wild outfits, and so much more that encapsulated that time period.

What's more, you get to witness the energy and passion of the three emcees of The Legion. They can't help but grin as they spit their bars at the camera and seamlessly move from one member's raps to the next. The "1980 Something" video is a highly engaging and entertaining glimpse of what The Legion has in store on their new album, Three The Bronx Way. While you wait for that release, be sure to keep their debut LP, Theme + Echo = Krill, in rotation—an album that remains as dope today as it was back in '94.

Check out the visuals for "1980 Something," and mark your calendars for the release of Three The Bronx Way, due out Feb 01 through all major DSPs and vinyl via Legion Records, distributed by Fat Beats.

"...the video effortlessly encapsulates that era." -HipHopDX
